⚠ Notice
Preliminary informational document. Must be reviewed by legal counsel before commercial launch. Does not constitute legal advice.
1. Who we are
AUTOMOTRA is a management platform for vehicle dealerships and importers in Australia and LATAM, currently in pilot access phase (Launch Access).
This document describes the privacy practices we apply during the pilot phase to protect the information of people who interact with the platform.
2. What information we collect
Public interest form (/dealer-interest): We collect name, email, phone, business name, country, city, current website and message. This information is used solely to coordinate pilot access.
Dealership data: Dealerships with platform access enter business information: name, address, contact, vehicle inventory, leads and customer information, sales and payments.
Dealership leads and customers: Data from people who submit enquiries through the public marketplace (name, phone, email) is stored linked to the relevant dealership. The dealership is responsible for handling this data.
Technical usage data: We may log actions (audit log) for security and troubleshooting. We do not carry out advertising tracking.
3. How we use information
Collected information is used to:
- Coordinate and manage pilot platform access.
- Provide and improve platform features.
- Respond to enquiries and provide support.
- Ensure the security of stored data.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
4. Security
We store data on secure servers with role-based access control. Access to the admin panel requires authentication. Dealership data is isolated from other dealerships (multi-tenant architecture).
During the pilot phase, we implement reasonable security measures. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as the dealership has an active account on the platform. Public interest form data is retained while it remains relevant to pilot coordination.
During the pilot phase, retention policies may be adjusted and will be communicated to participants.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting the AUTOMOTRA team through the contact form at /dealer-interest.
We will process your request in a reasonable and timely manner.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
The platform uses session cookies to maintain authentication for panel users. We do not use third-party advertising cookies during the pilot phase.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy during platform development. Significant changes will be communicated to pilot participants.
